It all began on September 15, 2000, when our Managing Director Axel Winkel opened his first Bang & Olufsen monobrand store in Bad Homburg. What started as a personal passion soon evolved into one of the most prominent groups in the world of high-end entertainment. At its peak, Klang & Design GmbH & Co. KG operated seven exclusive boutiques throughout Germany.
Today, we reflect on 25 years of heritage. This journey has taught us one thing above all: true excellence arises not from volume, but from focus. That is why, in 2020, we chose to concentrate all our resources on a single location that sets the standard: Berlin.

In the heart of the design metropolis, within living Berlin (formerly stilwerk), we operate Europe’s largest and most contemporary Bang & Olufsen Flagship Store. Across a space designed for sensory discovery, we present the complete portfolio in every available color and material.
Yet, we are more than just an exhibition space. Luxussound is one of only five certified Bang & Olufsen Bespoke Stores worldwide. This prestigious status allows us to collaborate with you and the artisans in Denmark to create absolute one-of-a-kind masterpieces—meticulously tailored to your personality and your interior.
