This fully digital active speaker is certified to the new WiSA standard for high-end wireless connectivity and impresses with its bass reproduction, flexible placement options, and geometric elegance. There has never been a better time to enhance your home soundscape with sophisticated bass—without having to compromise on your interior design. Every detail of the Beolab 19 is designed to add a special sense of depth and emotion to the soundscape, in both stereo and surround sound systems.
Whether you are a film enthusiast, a Wagner devotee, or a heavy metal fan, this subwoofer adds a deep-seated dimension to every listening experience that can be both heard and felt, thanks to its refined and powerful bass.
Due to its striking shape, it will likely be placed prominently in many living rooms, even though its wireless technology allows it to be positioned anywhere you like. At Bang & Olufsen, design is far more than just the appearance of a product. Beyond aesthetics, it is about the tactile feel, the functionality, and how it impacts the consumer. Beolab 19 radiates power and performance—precisely what is expected of it.
The dodecahedron, derived from the Greek words for "twelve" and "faces," gives the new subwoofer its timeless form. Designer Jakob Wagner chose this shape for both its sculptural identity and its structural integrity. It consists of twelve regular pentagons, three of which meet at every corner, providing the body with extraordinary stability. The anodized aluminum rings surrounding the drivers create a stylish contrast to the matte black, white, or gray of the dodecahedron. Every hole in the anodized aluminum ring is meticulously drilled, one by one. This is a continuation of years of tradition and expertise in manufacturing speaker covers for BMW, Audi, AMG, and Aston Martin.
The Beolab 19 owes its impressive impact to more than just its striking design. Every technical detail has been engineered to perfectly capture emotions in the lowest frequency spectrum. Inside its innovatively compact housing, the fully digital Beolab 19 hosts an impressive array of components and features. Two custom 8-inch drivers, each paired with its own 160-watt Class D amplifier, are mounted back-to-back in separate chambers to minimize interference. Utilizing Bang & Olufsen’s Acoustic Balance Principle, the units are phased to operate in opposite directions, cancelling out equal forces and thereby eliminating unwanted vibrations. The result is a powerful subwoofer with a clean sound and flexible placement options that can shake the room without needing to be banished to a shelf or causing furniture to rattle.
The room adaptation switch opens up further placement possibilities, optimizing the subwoofer's performance based on its position—whether free-standing, against a wall, or in a corner. While the human ear cannot detect the direction of the lowest audible tones, this feature is a welcome addition, as the reflective properties of a room significantly impact the overall sound profile.
Additional features of the Beolab 19 include thermal protection and Adaptive Bass Linearisation (ABL). These functions allow you to turn up the volume without worrying about overheating or unpleasant peaks. A phase switch and a low-pass filter provide further control for perfect bass management and seamless integration with the rest of your speaker system.
The Beolab 19 features Immaculate Wireless Sound: a fascinating new concept from Bang & Olufsen that combines design, engineering, and unprecedented sound quality, taking wireless speaker technology to a whole new level. You only need a single power cable.
The Beolab 19 automatically connects to any WiSA-compliant TV or A/V receiver. WiSA, the groundbreaking technology behind these speakers, utilizes the low-traffic 5 GHz frequency range of the U-NII spectrum, ensuring consistently reliable and stable wireless transmission at the highest level.
Sonic depth, perfected precision
Relieve your main speakers, such as the Beolab 8 or Beolab 28, of low-frequency duties to unlock greater clarity in the mid-range and treble. When paired with a compatible Beovision or the Beoconnect Core, the Beolab 19 ensures a perfectly balanced soundscape that elevates the acoustics of any room.
