In the new limited edition Beosystem 9000c, the original Beosound 9000 finishes, jet black and natural aluminium, are presented in reverse. This has been specially designed to enhance the visual impact of the CD player in combination with the matching Beosound 28 speakers.
This masterpiece was made possible by the craftsmanship expertise at Factory 3 in Struer, Denmark. As part of the Recreated Classics program, original Beosound 9000 devices were reworked – in the same workstations where they were created decades ago, and with the same tools.
Only 200 pieces.
The original Beosound 9000 CD player model was carefully dismantled and rebuilt from the ground up, always following design legend David Lewis' original vision of proudly displaying music rather than hiding it in a black cabinet. Its tall, transparent design frames the albums in an elegant way.
A pair of Beolab 28 speakers, which are part of the system, play the CDs with unparalleled sound fidelity. Here, acoustics and aesthetics combine to create a harmonious overall picture that always gives you goosebumps. This is the Beosystem 9000c.

At a time when CDs are considered antiquated, Bang & Olufsen celebrates the legacy of the CD with the Beosound 9000c. A champion of authentic sound, this unique CD player has been updated to the latest technology so that the user can experience every note, detail and beat of their collection more intensely than ever before.
But it's not just the outstanding sound that counts. It's the feeling of holding music in your hands, looking at the design and carefully selecting the albums. With a 1990s-style control panel and a 6-disc CD changer, Beosystem 9000c recreates that feeling for a very special listening experience. The technology of the Beosystem 9000c is not only impressive, but also strikingly present. The CD drive sets new standards with an LED ring that lights up as the disc spins and with lightning-fast switching of album tracks from CD to CD. An endless sound, 31 years before the digital era, packed in a glass case that combines the artfully designed covers and movements with the crystal-clear sound of the music.

The elegant interactive CD cover of the vertical CD player blends harmoniously with the slats of the Beolab. The floor stand symbolizes stable depth in a futuristic-looking trio that transcends space and time - developed in the same factory over the course of two decades.

The system is rounded off by a pair of Beolab 28 speakers in Cosmic Black, an infinitely deep colour. Aluminium slats crown the dark fabric covering underneath, which is bead-blasted for a high-contrast look. This process is used for the first time, and the colour scheme is also a first.
